RE:
I am requesting help. I am an American-Hungarian who would like to marry a
'pretty' (18-24 year old) Hungarian girl who may be interested in living in
US and perhaps even attending US university. I am willing to pay for your
assistance. I am a professional with a decent income, considered attractive,
with no bad habbits (outside of computers). Do me, yourself, and your friend
a favor, email me with information. Thank you.

Just how old are you, Mr. Toth?
I strongly suggest you go to Hungary and the Hungarian speaking areas around
it and do some direct marketing.

That's correct. A very similar name (Wladyslaw) exists in Polish and
Ladislaw could be its simplification. I don't know what form this
name takes in other Slavic languages. Btw. both "l"-s in Wladyslaw
are Polish l-dash and the name is pronounced sth. like "vuadisuaf".
Another root could be Russian "Lada" (yup, just like the infamous car :-)

The actual number of Hungarians in Romania is 1,600.000 as I heard it
in the RadioRopa Info last week. Since this German radio is an
independent observer, the number must be as correct as possible.

You have got to be kidding. Do you really think that some radio station,
just because it is "independent" digs any deaper than using the
"officially" published numbers, which can be quite biased. No I think
not, being uninvolved can sometimes be just as uninterested in making
sure data is correct. How can you even measure such a thing as your
feelings toward your ethnic origins, which are independent of your
official name. Since some Hungarians were forced to change their name for
the purpose of effecting the "official" census figures.
