In case, after the VistaScan installation, Windows (XP/2000) does not
register the driver correctly with the device manager and the scanner
gets detected as an unknown component at Windows start up, the proper
entry has to be done manually. Close the Assistent dialog with a
cancel button. Extract these files into a folder on your hard disk.
The scanner has been registered as an unknown device. Double click
this entry the device manager to open the properties dialog. Click on
"Driver" and then on the button "Update". Select the option "Software
list..." and in the next dialog the option "Do not search...". Click
on "Continue". In the list of hardware types select "Image processing
devices". Click on the button "Disk" and refer to the folder in which
you have just expanded the INF files. Click on "Open" and in the list
select your scanner. Ignore the Windows-Logo test warning and click on
"Continue"/"Finish". Now the scanner has been correctly register with
the device manager and will be displayed under "Image processing

Eleg erdekes 1ebkent, mert annak ellenere, h. ez az Egyesult Kiralysag
UMAX oldala, a fele nemetul van. De ezt talaltam 1.5 perc alatt. :-)

vannak hasonlóságok. Mindketto 'átlátszó' tömörítés... a rendszer maga intézi a
 tömörítgetést. de a DriveSpace elég instabil volt, ez egy nagy különbség..

Kb. igen. Ntfs-nél ez egy ki/be kapcsolható atribútum mint a readonly vagy az a
rchiv...

Mintha a Zipmagic hasonló célú prg lenne, de nem éri el az ntfs kényelmét és bi
ztonságát. Másról nem tudok.

Megmondom oszintén én sose próbáltam a multicastot, mert nem volt rá szükségem,
 csak a két gépet két ghost-fdd-rol indítva a két ghost egymás közt el tudott b
eszélgetni fix ip-vel..

És a protocol.ini-ben is a jó drivername legyen beírva...

Nekem ilyen egyszeruen mukodott..
Ha ennél bonyolultabban kell (multicastolni akarsz, nem dosban futtatni, stb) a
kkor nem tudok segíteni.
