Information Specialist

The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern
 Europe is now accepting applications for the position of Information
 Specialist for its new environmental information service for businesses.  
The specialist will be responsible for  collecting information from both 
computer and print sources, developing information products, and responding
 to information requests with high quality reports.  The position is based in
our 
Budapest office.  The ideal candidate will be from the CEE region and have:

*  experience with computer databases (PC and on-line) 
* familiarity with environmental issues in CEE and the concepts of 
sustainable development
* fluency in English and at least one regional language (both written and oral)

* one-year related experience
* university degree in information or library science, business administration,

computer science, environmental engineering or environmental science

Salary for this entry-level position will be based on experience and
qualifications.
